Meat Box Scheme - Pork Boxes

We have put together several options, which we hope will suit most customers. We will remain as flexible as possible in order to accommodate specific preferences. Either/or options are necessary because certain cuts are taken from the same parts of the animal and therefore cannot be had twice! For example, diced/minced pork is usually taken from the shoulder and therefore that shoulder is not also available as a joint. So look carefully at all possibilities before choosing your preferred option.

Some options are not available with a 'quarter pig' box.

Whole pig (based on 50-60kg weight*) £225
Half pig (based on 25-30kg weight*) £125
Quarter pig (based on 12.5-15kg weight*) £65
(*weights and prices may vary according to breed)

A typical butchered half pig would consist of:
1 x Leg: butchered or jointed to your requirements, or leg steaks.
1 x Hand of pork (shoulder): jointed, diced, minced or made into sausages.
1 x Loin: joint and/or single chops.
1 x Belly: sliced or whole.
Offal (optional).

A quarter pig consists of half the above, ie half a leg, half a shoulder and so on.

Crackling scored to your requirements, eg criss-cross or straight.
